Check out the dobro music CDs I have selected which are excellent to play as you sit down with your dobro to play along.
Your best music lesson is one where you are listening...this is one of many reasons God gave us all two (2) ears and one (1) mouth/voice, to be used in this proportion.
I've selected many of the legends of dobro or CDs where they played prominently, because in my learning to play over these many years, these are the dobro players I listened to and stole their licks, to then adopt/adapt them to my own style, feel and voice. Learning to play licks is one thing, but the difference here in then making them your own is the same difference as learning to play the dobro is from learning to play music with the dobro.
And always remember . . . you can't entertain anybody else, unless & until you entertain yourself first! - Will Griffin
